Professional Background
Dr. Aynehchi is a proud alumnus of Beverly Hills High School and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley. He completed advanced medical training at nationally recognized centers for sinus and nasal reconstruction, including Temple University and the State University of New York, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
His residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery included directing multiple resident-run clinics and performing nearly 3,000 operative procedures, reflecting a high-volume and technically rigorous surgical background.
Following residency, Dr. Aynehchi was selected for the sole fellowship position at the renowned Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan. He is the only graduate of this prestigious program currently practicing on the West Coast.
During his time in New York, Dr. Aynehchi served as an instructor at Lenox Hill Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center, working alongside internationally recognized leaders in facial plastic surgery. He currently serves as Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Sinus at Specialty Surgery Center in Beverly Hills and holds hospital privileges at UCLA Medical Center and Saint John’s Health Center. He continues his academic involvement as a clinical preceptor and instructor for UCLA medical students.
Dr. Aynehchi’s surgical techniques and innovations have been published in peer-reviewed articles and book chapters focused on facial plastic, sinus, and head and neck surgery. He is a frequent national and international lecturer and is among a select group of surgeons in the United States to hold dual board certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
